Get Out The Vote.
Every four years since 2000, AIGA has engaged communication designers across the country in a nonpartisan voter mobilization campaign. Creatives are asked to wield the power of design to motivate eligible citizens to register and vote in the 2016 election, as well as local elections to come. This campaign is a part of Design for Democracy, an AIGA initiative to increase civic participation through design.
Join us on Thursday, July 7th at The Galleries at CSU for the exhibition’s opening reception featuring posters from over 300 AIGA members, medalists and influencers that will fill the gallery from floor-to-ceiling. Take a walk through an informational exhibit on Design for Democracy’s Top 10 Election Design Guidelines and learn about how good design helps facilitate accessible voting experiences.
Spread The Word.
All member posters are available to print or share on social media to promote voting engagement initiatives. To see all posters available for download, visit aiga.org/vote. To access important election information such as polling places, voter guides, and more, visit vote411.org.
This event is free and open to the public, but RSVP is requested.
