March Reverb – Business Advice from Advantageous Freelancers
Reverb is a changing monthly discussion among creatives. At this Reverb, we will tackle the ambiguous world of freelancing. Katie Major and Jasen Melnick, co-founders of the award-winning boutique studio Fizz Creative, will lead a Reverb discussion on the must-know topics of running a freelance design business. Katie and Jasen will share their philosophy on gaining new customers, retaining existing customers, negotiating pricing and invoicing, and managing contracts.
Come grab a cocktail, get inquisitive, network with other creatives, and join a changing monthly discussion focused on industry topics directed by a professional.
SO WHAT IS A REVERB?
Reverb is a casual discussion series for creative Clevelanders. Reverbs are hosted at a local coffee house or restaurant/bar and basically brings members together to talk about a selected industry topic. The conversation is moderated by a local professional. Topics are selected based on interest expressed from members. If you are an AIGA member and interested in moderating a Reverb or recommending a topic please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
WHO CAN ATTEND A REVERB?
Reverbs are always FREE to attend, always open to members and are often open to non-members.
This month's Reverb is open to ONLY AIGA MEMBERS. We host Reverbs all year round, so check back for other Reverbs that are open to AIGA Cleveland's friends and non-members.
