Join us online on Wednesday, February 23 at 6pm for a conversation with Anne H. Berry, Penina Acayo Laker, Jennifer Rittner, Kelly Walters, Lesley-Ann Noel, and Kareem Collie editors of "The Black Experience in Design: Identity, Expression & Reflection”, an anthology of writings by 70 designers, artists, curators, educators, students, and researchers who represent a cross-section of Black diasporic identities and multi-disciplinary practices. All are welcome to join the conversation and you do not need to be an AIGA member to attend. While this event is free, please register so we can notify you of any changes to this event. Thank you!
Once registered, a Zoom link will be provided prior to the event via email.
Please consider purchasing the book here: https://blackexperienceindesign.com/
There will be an opportunity to ask questions but we encourage you to submit questions before the meeting on social media or by emailing kwells@cleveland.aiga.org.
Want to get more involved with AIGA?
The monthly community meetings are a great place to get started and you don't have to be a member to attend. There’s no better way to see what’s going on in the Cleveland creative community, get involved, and participate in shaping the chapter’s growth. Mingling starts at 6pm. See you there!
