Led by 3D Biomedical Artist and Adjunct Professor Lauren Kubacki, this hands-on session will cover the essentials of 3D modeling, lighting, and rendering in Blender. Whether you're a beginner or looking to refine your skills, this workshop is tailored to help you explore the vast possibilities of 3D design. Remember to bring your laptop and computer mouse, as this will be an interactive session.

Lauren Kubacki is a 3D Biomedical Artist whose primary goal is to utilize 3D art for scientific education. As a board-certified medical illustrator, she can create visuals of complex medical and biological topics into easily understandable images. Lauren has experience in creating art for XR development and educational animations, and has collaborated with the medical device industry, medical school anatomists, and orthopedic surgeons. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Biomedical Art from the Cleveland Institute of Art. Lauren is also an adjunct professor teaching 3D modeling and animation at several universities, including Cleveland Institute of Art and Southern New Hampshire University. She often creates custom tutorials that solve specific file issues for her students.

In her free time, Lauren enjoys baking sweet treats, yoga, hiking in National Parks, and petting her cat, Bowie.

This free event is a fantastic opportunity to network with other creatives in your community, share your experiences, and make new friends. All are welcome to join in the fun and games and you do not need to be an AIGA member to attend.
