Your True Voice: Harnessing Emotional Intelligence As A Creative Catalyst
It's so easy to fall into the trap of going through your creative process by rote. What if instead you could to tap into deeper parts of your creative self to generate stronger, more authentic ideas? That's where emotional intelligence comes into play. Join Devin O'Bryan as he tells his tale of mental illness, redemption, and how he found his creative voice in an unlikely place.
About Devin
Devin O’Bryan is a designer-educator with an eye for talent and a heart for cultivating that talent. For nearly 5 years, he has been co-creating within IBM IoT, IBM Corporate HR , and IBM Design’s global education efforts with programs like IBM's Design Bootcamp Experiences, IBM Designweek events, as well as building and maintaining the intensive, award-winning Maelstrom internship program from scratch. He is currently the Creative Director for IBM's internal incubator called Project Whitespace.
Devin’s personal mental health journey has informed huge swaths of his educational and professional curricula. As such, authenticity is the cornerstone of Devin’s design and life philosophies, and his patient wife and two kids keep him genuine every single day.

Beyond Design: How to Level Up Your Strategic Mindset
These days most design skills are commoditized and creative talent is subjective. How do designers stand out and prove long-term value within their organizations? That's the question that our dynamic and entertaining opening keynote speaker will answer. Join Sam Brenner, VP of Marketing at BoxCast, as he kicks off INtrosepctive 3.0.
About Sam
Sam Brenner is the VP of Marketing for BoxCast, one of Cleveland's most exciting tech companies. For the last three years, Sam has been building an in-house content marketing machine that continues to drive results and extend the global reach of the BoxCast brand.
Sam's journey to BoxCast is unique. He started his career in outside sales, cold calling all day long. In the summer of 2011, he parlayed his sales commissions into recording his first studio album, got picked up by a booking agent, quit his sales job, and created Sam Brenner Music. After transitioning his music from full-time career to beloved hobby, Sam started working as a consultant and business development manager for a digital marketing agency.
