I am a graphic designer and pharmacy technician in Cleveland. Currently, I am working towards a Master of Fine Arts in Visual Communication Design at Kent State University, where I also teach a class called Intro to Design Research. My experience working in the pharmacy has led me to develop interest in how the healthcare and design fields intersect. My research involves exploring what service design is and how it can help improve the experiences of patients and visitors in waiting areas.
I have been serving on AIGA Cleveland’s board since January 2021 as Design Life Balance Co-Chair. Being a part of AIGA Cleveland has allowed me to meet creatives in the Cleveland area, bring wellness to the design community, and build relationships.
Design allows me to express my ideas to the world. It is my way of connecting with all kinds of people. I encourage others to use design as a tool to share their perspectives and start conversations about topics that they are passionate about.
