Jordan Wong, AIGA Cleveland's current Community Outreach Director, will begin his term as chapter president in 2020. Join us as we chat with Jordan about his vision and aspirations for the future of AIGA Cleveland as well as the local design and creative community at large.
For those who do not know Jordan, he works for himself under the name WONGFACE, delighting, inspiring, and sharing his quirky thoughts through graphic design and illustration.
Since relocating to Cleveland in 2015, Jordan has started his own business, showcased artwork throughout the city, worked on the CAC SfAPT (Cuyahoga Arts and Culture Support for Artists Planning Team), and assumed the role of design partner at the art organization SPACES.
Jordan draws inspiration from his experiences as an Asian American and his nostalgic adoration for narratives found in comic books and video games.
