Find balance this May at Harness Cycle with a little movement and a conversation about design for wellness. The evening begins with an optional ride followed by a sit down with Harness Cycle founder, Anne Hartnett, and the design team at the Studio of Christine Wisnieski to talk about their path to refreshing the studio's brand—determining the right time to refresh, accessing the current position and prescribing a new direction and embracing an agile approach to design for the anticipation of a new studio opening.
If you're joining us for the ride, all experience levels are welcome. For beginner spinners, there isn't much to worry about! It's always a little disorienting getting into the flow of any new class you're trying, but all of Harness Cycle's classes welcome newcomers and you are always welcome to modify as needed. The most important piece is to arrive 15 minutes early, so there is enough time to get rental shoes and get set up correctly on the bike, which the instructor always helps with.
Design Life Balance is an AIGA Cleveland series that focuses on self care for designers. With our career and creative projects at the forefront of our thoughts, taking up time and energy, we often forget to step back, rest, replenish, and rejuvenate our minds and bodies. Design Life Balance provides opportunities for designers and fellow creatives to focus and improve on aspects of not only physical, but mental and emotional health.
