February Community Discussion: Freelance Fears
Led by Brandan Baki
Does freelancing sound like a giant risk or another word for unemployed? We’ll discuss common fears of taking the leap and also what the word means (because most “freelancers” aren’t freelancers at all).
Brandan is a graduate of Columbia College Chicago. He has worked for Akron Children’s Hospital, Method Studios and Outcome Health creating content for marketing, education, TV commercials, music videos and short films. In 2017, he created Parallel Vision Post, an independent post-production studio in Avon, where he is a video editor and motion designer. In 2018, he launched the Cleveland chapter of the Freelancer’s Union SPARK program which he currently Co-Leads.
